I arrived on the scene of the accident about 15 minutes after it happened. According to witnesses I spoke to, the car had been traveling south on 18th St NW, turned east onto U St but lost control. It then hit two female pedestrians and ended up going through the front window of Keren Restaurant (which was closed, according to the owner who was on site, thank goodness)
